One of the biggest highlights of the LDF week for me was a special meeting between creatives Nathalie Du Pasquier and Bethan Laura Wood.

About a month ago, we asked young design star Bethan Laura the following question: If you could speak to any one of your heroes in the world, who would it be? She chose Nathalie Du Pasquier, a painter and designer (and a founding member of the 1980s influential design collective, Memphis). A few weeks later, we met up at The Aram Gallery in Covent Garden, at the site of Bethan's newest show, ZigZag CrissCross.

The meeting was great fun for everyone, and it was really lovely to watch these two interact! The ladies really connected over everything from inspiration to process—and, of course, their mutual love of graphic patterns. By the end, the pair was even discussing a second possible get-together in Italy! We'll share the highlights from that conversation in an upcoming Tete-a-Tete feature, so stay tuned!
