Located in Florence, the owners of Traslucido studied set design and painting at the Accademia delle Belle Arti (Academy of Fine Arts) before opening their gallery in 1985. Specializing in Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and midcentury design, Traslucido has curated a collection of furniture, glass and ceramic objects, lighting, fine art, and sculpture not only from the Italian school, but also from the most significant European furniture makers of the twentieth century.
