Mighty Horse is an original etching artwork by Marcel Chirnoaga (Romanian, 1930–2008) one of the most important artists of fantasy painting and mythology subjects in the XX century. The artwork is from the series of'' Inevitable monsters'' book of hand made by the artist, which includes 13 etchings artworks all about mythological creatures. Hand-signed on the lower right, numbered on the lower left, edition of 56/70 prints. The State of preservation is very good. Sheet dimension: 58 x 40 cm. The artwork represents a scenery of mighty horse whining with a man bach of him through intense black color, skillfully depicted by quick and confident strokes, showing mysterious of nature and wildness, the horse symbolizes the fate of the speaker, who is being driven inextricably to eternity. The speaker is contemplating just how long it has been when she first observed the grave, ''A swelling of the ground.'' The Horses were the vehicle in which she was transported from the old life to the new. The artist created a scary scene, it is characterized by a well-balanced composition to indicate a mysterious world which is the artist's style of creation. Marcel Chirnoaga (Romanian, 1930–2008), was a Romanian visual artist, graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Bucharest, 1952. Simultaneously pursuing liberal art studies, a member of the Union of Visual Artists in Romania since 1953. He created over 3,000 works in drawings, engravings, paintings and sculptures, being at the same time the author of the most important Romanian work from the end of the 20th century, the cycle of ''Apocalypse'' engravings. Mighty Horse es una obra original de Marcel Chirnoaga (rumano, 1930-2008) uno de los artistas más importantes de la pintura fantástica y temas de mitología en el siglo XX.
