This ring, made in the 40s, stands out in particular for the perfect union between the setting and the stone that decorates it, which together gave life to a jewel with a mysterious and even older look. Starting from the stone, we are faced with a round cut garnet, of a rather dark and deep red and with a fancy cut, characterized by many faces that continuously reflect the light. The garnet has been inserted into a massive and clearly visible bezel, whose inner edges, which act as claws, are wavy; this bezel is an integral part of the decoration of the ring, made even more beautiful by an external contour that looks like a small rope wrapped around the garnet. Turning the ring and looking at it on the back we will be able to see how the bezel is completely closed on the back, a typical feature of the oldest rings and which gives ours even more charm. The shank, whose shoulders are decorated, was connected to the ring not through the two sides but rather by applying it to the back of the bezel. The whole frame is in 18K yellow gold.
