This very special and unique antique ring dating from the first half of 800 (1801-1850), which is mainly characterized by the micro-mosaic decorating it. The micromosaico (also called mosaic miniature minute or mosaic) is a production technique of the mosaic, presented for the first time in Rome in 1775, in the mosaicista Giacomo Raffaelli workshop. The innovative technique of micromosaico has been possible thanks to the production of minute and tiles of different shapes, adapted to the composition of manufactured articles of reduced size and to see at close range, the perfect for relatively small objects such as jewelry. With this technique we can then have a feature like that which decorates our ring, and that creates a unique and unique decor. In this case we have a drawing of a temple, located on a natural background with green tiles that recreate the lawn and blue-white tiles that recreate the sky. The micromosaico is inserted within un'avventurina, stone characterized by this bright appearance, bright and crossed by many glittering dots. The uniqueness of this ring also continues thanks to decorations that run across the frame and the stem: the outer contour, the jaws and shoulders are entirely molded in silver, and are crossed by various designs of flowers and other geometric elements, realized through fine and precise incisions. Although the shank is embellished by additional incisions, but this is in 12K gold, as well as the contour of the rear frame (which is known by the orange color, but unlike the rest of which is, in fact, silver).
